Pro:
According to God’s word he says sex is meant for marriage. Marriage is the union between man, woman and God devoting the service of sex to one another solely.
God created sex for pleasure and conception, we are not meant to abuse such a sacred gift for selfish purposes. We all have desires and wants but self-control rules over emotions and “needs.” We all have choices, adults can make any decision they choose to, but as Christians there are consequences for every action and abusing god’s grace and claiming that only God can’t judge me is blatantly hypocritical. It is a very simple premise, do right or do wrong, have sex or don’t have sex, please god or please yourself. Which one do you choose?
Con:
According to God’s word we are saved by his grace. In the New Testament Paul described a “thorn” or vice that plagued him and stated that God’s grace was sufficient for him. Theologians still do not “know” exactly what that thorn was but it was definitely an imperfection. Christians are imperfect people who go to church to get spiritual rejuvenation among other things but plainly stating that God is black or white is limiting the power of God. God created sex, in the Garden of Eden Adam and Eve were not ashamed until they were aware of their nakedness. We are imperfect people with vices and flaws and the grace of God is not to be abused but respected, at the same time sex is meant for conception and pleasure. Every individual travels their own road; there are many steps and hurdles every believer has to climb to reach a place of peace and true righteousness. Sex is like any other sin, if we trust in God to help us overcome our problems than what is the problem?
It’s up to you to decide???
