A Young African American Woman’s Initiatives To Inspire Our Society To Live Life To A Higher Standard
Meet Adylia-Rhenee Gutierrez. She’s a 20-year-old Los Angeles-native and CEO of international campaign and online community http://www.yhorlife.com. Adylia-Rhenee wanted to take a stand against what she calls “trashy celebrity culture,” a society that glorifies bad behavior. This online community encourages its readers to celebrate talented, inspirational role models rather than celebrities that have no real talent, education, meaning or substance,
and who are negatively impacting the thoughts and self-esteem of their fans. She donates a portion of the proceeds that she earns from Yhorlife.com to charity. In addition to running her business, Adylia-Rhenee is studying finance at Philadelphia’s Temple University.

“I wanted to start Yhorlife.com to remind people that there are others who are looking for smart, dynamic content that can impact their lives in a positive way,” says Gutierrez, who was born and raised in Los Angeles and now resides in Philadelphia, where she studies finance at Temple University.
“When you surf the web or watch television today, you get the sense that our society is being dumbed down. Celebrities who are famous just for being famous are glorified and are now outnumbering the true heroes impacting the world in a positive way.”
