Organization of Black Designers Launches Designer of the Month

As a multidisciplinary membership organization OBD's goal is to foster increased dialogue and interaction between design disciplines and practicing design professionals through intense emphasis on education.

"Ours is a practical approach, intended to forge a new model for design companies and design professionals of the 21st-century. OBD has invested created a central resource for the employment and engagement of designers of color by corporations, academia, government; the public and the private sector. Never before in history has design been so significant and essential as a factor in our economic growth", states David Rice, OBD chairman.
