    "Real Life with Roudie"

    The Caribbean's first reality model!

Every night in Atlanta a young woman is up late browsing through hundreds of castings. She sighs and runs her fingers through her hair in an effort to clear her mind and focus. There are hundreds of scam artists out there so she has to be cautious.
These auditions require preparation, and a sound mind and body on audition day. When auditioning, Roudie is no longer Roudie, she has to become the character that someone else has created. This is the life of actress and model Roudie Augustin….

Born in sunny south Florida, Roudie moved to Atlanta after graduating from Florida A&M University, a HBCU. Roudie is now taking Improv classes at Whole World Theatre and is aggressively pursuing her acting career. Her features portray her Haitian heritage and she speaks her native language of French & Creole. Her current project, Real Life with Roudie is an online reality series, created by Black Men in America, CEO Gary Johnson and featured by the leading black website BlackRefer.com. While striking a pose and a twinkle in her eye Roudie says, “I’ve got to let aspiring actresses and models know the real deal. I even created a forum on my website that allows other models and actors to find good auditions and castings. This business requires hard work, dedication, and motivation.”

“Real Life with Roudie” is her way to share her experiences and help others by learning through her mistakes. She would really like the entertainment industry to give black women (and men) the respect they deserve. “Many casting directors seem to think of models and actresses as objects-especially the models. They don’t see us as human beings actively and painfully pursuing a career. Black actors have few good roles. Black women get even fewer. This means odds are already against me so I have to be the best of the best”.

Currently the series, ”Real Life Roudie” has hundreds of faithful readers. Roudie definitely is playing the game-her way. This woman is something special…
