“WHEN ANGELS CRY” MAKES TAKE 6 FANS SMILE

TAKE 6 BECOME DIPLOMATS ON RECORD, ON TOUR AND FOR CHILDREN

     TAKE 6

Cry.” It is their first single from their upcoming album, “Believe” (SoNo Recording Group/Universal). Known best in the world of Christian and gospel music, as proven by their 10 Dove Awards, Grammys and their induction into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame last year, they are back with this very special ballad, particularly relevant in society today and just in time for the holidays. Recognized as the greatest a capella group worldwide, an a capella version of the single has also been released, arguably the first time both a musical and purely harmonic version have been released simultaneously.

The lyrics reflect the challenges we face daily, Angels Cry when innocence is shattered and the love for your brother no longer matters…. However, as always, Take 6 is hopeful and encourages other to be so, as they sing Now the Church must live within, We can build these walls again…

In that vein, Take 6 had the honor of being the first American vocal group to perform in Cuba since diplomatic relations were restored. One of the Public Diplomacy officers wrote after the concert, “The group elicited a response (that) in some form helped to advance U.S. diplomacy and interests in ways that our formal process could not.”

On another note, the sextet are advocates of music education and their animated counterparts are the voices of the “ABC Song” on a new pre-school app entitled “Reba to the Rescue” which teaches children both academic and life lessons.
